To apply for the Nitec in Social Media & Web Development course, you need to have:

Successful students will be required to purchase Laptop/Tablet which will cost about $500 (for Tablet) to $1200(for laptop) for the 2-year course. This is in addition to the course fees. Nitec in Social Media & Web Development graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. For more details on diploma courses for progression, please refer to the Joint Polytechnic Admissions website.
Nitec in Social Media & Web Development graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE.

This course is less suitable for students who do not possess the functional abilities indicated. If in doubt, please consult your school career guidance officer or visit ITE College for further academic advising.
They work with companies that create and use interactive web technology for customers, including design firms, advertising agencies, production companies, interactive developers, museums & galleries, government bodies, PR and marketing firms, financial and healthcare companies.
In their course of work, they are required to respond to customers’ telephone calls, emails as well as to attend meetings and make presentations.
They must listen attentively to customers’ requirements and work with his/her team to plan, analyze and code the interactive applications.
